DEMO POLICY // THE GEOMETRIC SHADOW PROTOCOL (V2.0)

I. THE FILTER: SIGNAL RECALIBRATION

Most of what we receive is noise. Murmure Records is not a standard label; it is a Laboratory of Sonic Architecture. Following our 2026 recalibration, our filter is now sharper. We are no longer seeking the darkness of the warehouse; we are seeking the Geometric Shadow—the perfect intersection of brutalist infrastructure and cinematic light.

II. NEGATIVE CONSTRAINTS (STRICT REJECTIONS)

Our laboratory automatically archives and deletes any signal that compromises our structural integrity. We strictly forbid:

No EDM / Mainstream Trash: We reject predictable builds, festival drops, or white-noise risers. If it’s designed for a "drop," it’s not for us.

No Commercial Vocals: We do not provide a platform for pop hooks or lyrical narratives. Voices must be treated as unintelligible textures, ethereal pads, or atmospheric shadows.

No "Warehouse" Clichés: We have moved beyond distorted grime and raw industrial loops. If your track relies on "lo-fi" saturation or dirty percussion, it belongs to the past.

No House or Organic "Swing": We reject the "funky" and the "groovy." We seek Architectural Precision. If your percussion "swings," it fails the audit.

III. THE MURMURE STANDARD (HARMONIC RESONANCE)

We only accept submissions that meet the Geometric Shadow blueprint:

The 125 BPM Protocol: Our grid is now anchored at 124 — 126 BPM. This tempo allows the architectural space of the reverb to breathe and the melodic density to evolve.

Melodic Structuralism: We seek High-Fidelity Arpeggios and hardware-driven sequences. Melody is not an ornament; it is a structural pillar. We look for cinematic drama, evolving filters, and analog "drift."

Cinematic Immersion: Your track must feel like a physical space—a sun-baked concrete cathedral or a silent monolith. We prioritize depth, width, and professional-grade spatial design.

IV. TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS

Do not compromise the signal. All submissions must adhere to the following:

Resolution: 24-bit / 44.1kHz (minimum). 48kHz preferred.

Format: Private SoundCloud links only. Downloads MUST be enabled for A&R auditing.

Naming Convention: PROJECT_ID // ARTIST_NAME // TRACK_TITLE.

Final Remark: If you have to ask if your music fits, it probably doesn't. We follow architects, not trends.
